A well-balanced guitar class curriculum needs to include the practice and performance of ensemble repertoire. Unfortunately the available options for a progressive collection of ensemble arrangements for beginning and intermediate guitar classes have, until now, been limited.
The Consonus Music Ensemble Collection for Guitar is unique. It includes 12 graded ensembles with parts and scores, and access to the Consonus Online Learning Site (OLS).
- The OLS is a secure practice and review website that is part of the Consonus Blended Learning system.
- Each ensemble can be played for the class from the OLS
- Students can login at home to practice with the ensembles
- Accompaniment tracks (bass and drums) are provided as appropriate
- Online Student Practice Logs and progress logs are included
- The Teacher’s home page for the OLS also contains standard notated parts for the tablature-based ensembles.
